Raymond "Wimp" Kruger Jr.

Raymond “Wimp” Kruger Jr., 84, of Londonderry, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born July 7, 1930 in Vinton County, son of the late Raymond and Alice Dixon Kruger Sr. Wimp was married to Mary Henderson Kruger, who survives.

He was a farmer, a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and a member of the Antioch Christian Union Church in Allensville.

Wimp is survived by his son, Dick, (Christy) Kruger of Londonderry; daughters, Lisa (Mark) Allman of Piketon and Christina (Mike) Gill of Roseville; grandchildren, Jason Kruger, Amber (Alvie) Brown, Jared (Jordan) Allman, Brooke and Bailee Allman and Evan Gill and great grandchildren, Madison, Blake, Morgan and McKinsley Brown, Brevin Kruger, Ella Jo and Kayden Allman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Kruger; brother, Larry Kruger; sister, Ruth Weinrich and special cousin, Freda Cutright.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Don Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 p.m.
