Thoma Ruth Ann Wells

Thoma Ruth Ann Wells, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away June 15, 2015 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born February 26, 1937, in Logan, daughter of the late Orla Fickel and Virginia Hunter Fickel Mohler. She was married to Samuel Robert Wells, who survives.

Thoma was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene and HVCH Twig organizations.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Victor (Cecile) Wells of Lancaster, Tony (Jill) Wells of Chattanooga, TN, Thomas R. (Sue) Wells of Woodlawn, TN, and Don (Onole) Wells of Fairbanks, AK; daughters, Diane (Bit) Simmons of Chattanooga, TN, Suzette (Kenn) McCord of Roseville and Dorothy (Chris) Toops of Logan; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a brother, Bill Fickel of Logan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Toops; sisters, Inez Davis and Edith Bland and her brothers, Roy, Butch and Ronnie Fickel.

No services will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan
