Lorraine M. Radune

Lorraine M. Radune, 88, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1927 in Antigo, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Frank and Amanda Fust Shimpach. Lorraine was the widow of the late Robert Karl Radune.

She retired from Austin Powder Company in McArthur. Lorraine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan and attended McArthur Church of The Nazarene. She was the former Treasurer of the Vinton County Travel and Tourism Association and was known as a local artist in Vinton County and helped with various projects around the area.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Frank (Judy) Radune of Jackson and Robin (Donna) Radune of McArthur; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and sisters, Donna Allison and Ruth (Tom) Zakel, both of McArthur.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Danny Koch and Pastor William Roth officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m.
