Cathy Sue Taylor, 63, of Rockbridge, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born October 5, 1951 in Lancaster, daughter of Leoma M. Baker Harden of Rockbridge and the late Melvin E. Harden. Cathy was married for 47 years to Jim L. Taylor, who survives.
She was a member of New Life Christian Center in Lancaster. Cathy loved her family and babies dearly and would always put others ahead of herself.
In addition to her mother and husband, Cathy is survived by her sons, Jimmy Taylor of Rockbridge, Jon Withrow of Thornville and Michael Hart of Rockbridge; daughters, Regina (Rick) Hart of Lancaster, Julie Rutter of Rockbridge, Jamie (Paul) Ray of Grove City; Jennifer Pargeon of Rockbridge; Jerri Withrow of Rockbridge and Ragean Hart of Rockbridge; twenty grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Todd (Kathy) Harden of Lancaster; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Barber of Laurelville and Pam McCarthy of Rockbridge; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Pargeon and a brother, Randy Harden.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2015 in the New Life Christian Center, 2642 Columbus-Lancaster Rd. NW, Lancaster with Pastor Gary Keller officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may call Sunday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, and on Monday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
