Carol Dianne Johnson

Carol Dianne Johnson, 61, of Millfield, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born September 16, 1953 in Athens, the daughter of Robert Johnson of Nelsonville and Carol Pittman Stump of Athens.

Dianne graduated from Athens High School and was a long time employee of Wal-Mart in Athens. She cherished every minute she spent with her grandchildren, enjoyed gardening and loved her dog Bailey.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Doug (Bridget) Moore of Columbus and Chad (Amber) Moore of Murray City; grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Connor Moore and Keira Moore; brother, Bob Johnson of Athens; sisters, Debbie Stewart of Logan, Tonya Hamlet of Chillicothe, Tamara (Peter) Novak of Arizona, Lisa Johnson of West Virginia and Jill Ramsey of Virginia; special niece, Shawna Bickley of Millfield and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 3, 2015 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Elijah Brooks officiating. Interment will be at Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
