Melvin Wesley Stone

Melvin Wesley Stone, 40, of McArthur, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 7, 1975 in Gallipolis, son of Melvin (Sharon) Stone of Albany and the late Juanita Faye Wheatcraft.

Wesley is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Myers; son, Dakota Fitzwater and sisters, Teresa (Paul) Weaver of Albany, Pam (Scott) Funk of Wilkesville and Melina Stone of Wilkesville.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his infant sister, April Beth Stone and grandparents, Alex and Orbie Bradley.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m.
