Matthew Jeremy Howdyshell

Matthew Jeremy Howdyshell, 27, of West Mansfield, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1987, in Columbus, son of Lee E. and Linda Kay Gilbert Howdyshell of West Mansfield.

Matthew was a Boy Scout from Troop 148 in Hilliard. He enjoyed playing Jr. Golf, swimming, snow skiing and soccer.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Joseph Howdyshell of West Mansfield; special uncles, Larry (Grace) Howdyshell of Gore, OH and James Gilbert of East Liverpool, OH and a special aunt, Edith (Bob) Brown of Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer Howdyshell Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. 2nd St., Logan with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Twp. Rd. 234, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
