Janet Sue Kline Greer

Janet Sue Kline Greer, 77, of McArthur, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 15, 1938 in Columbus, daughter of the late Roy A. and Grace E. Wallett Kline.

She attended the McArthur Church of The Nazarene and was a member of Aerie #2279 Fraternal Order of Eagles in McArthur.

Janet is survived by her sister, Sheila Bennett of Columbus; son, Lanny R. Greer Sr. of Columbus; daughter, Dody (Wayne) Prater of McArthur; grandchildren, Christy (Todd) Clary of McArthur, Misty (BJ Stevens) Prater of McArthur, Wendy (Owen) Stevens of McArthur, Darrell (Amanda) Greer of McArthur; Anna Clay of Columbus and Lanny (Amy) Greer Jr. of Bellefontaine; fourteen great grandchildren; very special companion, Carl Hill of Columbus and her special caretaker, Debbie Holsinger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Teri Greer.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor John Pearson officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m.
