Ethel Louise Taylor

Ethel Louise Taylor, 83, of Nelsonville, was a 20 year cancer survivor but lost her battle and went to be with God on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan. She was born August 23, 1931 in Athens County, the daughter of the late John and Allie Henderson Taylor. She was the widow of the late Benjamin Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Roger (Wanda) Taylor of Millfield, Linda Taylor of Nelsonville and Connie Pierce of The Plains; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ada McClellan of Athens and very good friends Jack and Pete.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by a great-great grandson, Zachary; brothers, Mont, Fred and Clifford; sisters, Violet, Minnie and Francis and an infant sister, Alice.

Due to the final wishes of our mother, there will be no services or calling hours observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.

Family and friends, always remember, she loved each of us. She did not want us to be sad or shed tears for her because she is now with God. Bless you all.
