Martha G. Keplar

Martha Gail Keplar, 84, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Sarah Moore Home in Delaware. She was born August 8, 1930 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Guy and Martha G. Galvin Barber. She was the widow of the late Arthur Keplar.

Martha was a retired Legal Secretary and a member of Church of Epiphany in Nelsonville where she was the treasurer of the Alter Guild.

She is survived by her daughters, Margie (Neal) Collins of Nelsonville, Deborah (Bob) Badger of Delaware, Christy (Ron) Dane of Nelsonville; step-daughter, Marlin (Bill) Kline of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Brandy (Greg) Oatney, Patrick McGee, Lanie (Dr. Jonathan) Hollister, Ryan Badger, Brea Badger, Aaron (Rusty) Dane, Jarrod Dane, Daniel Dane, David (Robert Graves) Keplar, Scott (Tamara) Kline and Melissa Tedrow; great grandchildren, Meridian, Jax, Scotty, Jacob, Paige, Katelyn, Linsey, Mikayla, Rachael, Hayden, Olivia, Ethan, Patrick, Clarrissa, Benjamin, Jerry and Brandon; great-great grandchild, Lillian Rose and her sister, Betty Streng of Sandusky.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Davis; grandsons, Michael Collins, Brian Dane and Skip Kline; step-son, David Keplar; sisters, Dana Bateman, Margaret “Peg” Barber and her brother, Guy Barber Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 31, 2015 at Church of the Epiphany, 193 Jefferson St., Nelsonville with Rev. William McCleery officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Friday, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
