Billy Joe Woollet, 64, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late James Alvin and Lola Elsie Collins Woollet Sr. Billy was married to Connie D. Hewitt Woollet, who survives.
He was a retired water well specialist and a United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Billy was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the DAV.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Bart (Christa) Woollet of Canada and Brett Woollet of Gallipolis; daughters, Holly Woollet of McArthur, Amber (David) Lambert of McArthur, Derra (David Manley) Woollet of Zaleski and Callie (Shawn) Swick of Radcliff and grandchildren, Kimberley, Kelley, Jacey, Weston, Abigayle, Kyle, Shylaya, Zane, Bree, Ava, Zeke, Zacc, Kaiden and Kaisen.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Kasey and Beau and best friend, Gene Arms.
Private services will be held. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Billy Woollet to the Adena Cancer Center, 4435 State Route 159, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
