Earl Edwin Hartley

Earl Edwin Hartley, 88, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. He was born October 8, 1926 in Columbus, son of the late Homer Clayton and Mattie Irene Kight Hartley. Earl was married to the late Margie Rose Hartley.

He was a retired mechanic who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Earl is survived by his daughter, Sheila Ann (Bruce) Finch of Columbus; son, Homer (Becky) Hartley of Lancaster; grandchildren, Bruce II, Brandy, Jarrod, Joel, Joshua, Mishaila, Megan, Mariah and Micah; 10 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, Homer “Blackie” Oren Hartley and sisters, Wilma “Gina” Cowgill, Charleen “Polly” Russell and Phyllis “Pal” Morton.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Cremation will follow. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6 pm until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
