Virgie Ann Rose, 71, of Hamden, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of the late John B. and Edna Bertrand Mullins.
Virgie was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Truth Church in Hamden.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony G. Rose of Hamden and Gary T. (Sandy) Rose of Hamden; grandchildren, Kelcie (Chris) Fraley of Chillicothe, Ashley Rose of McArthur and Hannah Rose of Hamden; a step great grandson, Jace Fraley and dear friend, Gloria Eberts of Hamden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Brent Mullins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
