Thomas G. Scanlan, 63, of McArthur, passed away Friday, August 21, 2105 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1952 in Columbus, son of the late Thomas J. and Pearl Amerine Scanlan. Tom was married to Deborah Tate Scanlan, who survives.
He was a retired concrete mason, an Army Veteran and a member of the NRA.
Tom is survived by his sons, Jason (Catherine) Scanlan of Michigan, Michael (Jessica Johnston) Fallon of Amanda, Ohio and Owen Scanlan of McArthur; daughter, Crystal (J.R. Salmons) Pendleton of Wellston; grandchildren, Sierra, Katelyn, Samantha, Braydon and Jaxon and sisters, Anna Marie (John) Medert and Sister Peggy Scanlan, both of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, August 27, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jimmy Forrest officiating. Interment will be in Otterbein Cemetery, McArthur, with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
