Loretta Elizabeth Stewart, 91, of Belton, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1923, in Radcliff, daughter of the late George Elmer and Elizabeth Elana Hagerty Molihan. Loretta was the widow of the late William “Bill” Stewart.
She is survived by her son, William “Pat” (Diana) Stewart and granddaughters, Michele Lee Stewart and Stephanie Elizabeth Stewart, all of Belton, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Michael J. and Paul T. Stewart and daughter, Yolanda A. Stewart.
Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 in St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 119 N. 2nd St., Zaleski, with Reverend Father Michael Hartge officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Loretta Stewart to St. Mary of The Angels Catholic Church, Building Fund, 1821 White St., Anderson, South Carolina, 29624.
