Lila Slone

Lila Slone, 80, of Creola, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1934 in Hollybush, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jasper and Lula Short Caudill. Lila was married to Conard Slone, for 65 years, who survives.
A beautiful, wonderful woman, loving and caring passed from this humble place into the loving arms of the Lord. Our hearts are heavy.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Carla) Slone of Rootstown, Jimmy (Lisa) Slone of Cincinnati and Jeffery (Jeanette) Slone of Ravenna; daughter, Carol (Tod Peters) Slone-Phillips of Creola; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Oliver (Launa) Caudill of Lexington, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Gloria Caudill of Michigan; half brothers, Devo and Delmer Caudill and half sister, Helen Amburgey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Judy Slone; sisters, Madie Gibson and Mazzie Hall and brothers, Gardner, Ivan and Chester Caudill grandson, Anthony Robert Slone.

Private services were held in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Elk Cemetery, McArthur.
