Adin G. Yutzy, of Logan, Ohio passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at his home.

A funeral will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 10:30 AM at Hocking Hills Mennonite Church, Logan, OH. Friends may call at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church on Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Adin was born May 19, 1934 in Plain City, Ohio to Gideon E. and Anna (Kauffman) Yutzy.

He was a carpenter, cattle farmer and realtor. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and deer hunting. He was an advocate for Amish and Mennonite schools as one of the three defendants in the US Supreme Court Case, Wisconsin vs. Yoder 1968.

He was a member of Hocking Hills Mennonite Church.

Adin is survived by his wife, Fanny L.(Miller) Yutzy of Logan, OH, 4 brothers, Norman, John, Eli and Roy. 5 sisters, Esther, Elizabeth, Rachel, Ida Ann, and Fannie; 8 Children, Vernon Yutzy, Oklahoma City, OK, Arlene Longenecker, Annville, PA, Paul Yutzy,Lebanon, PA, Glen Yutzy, Rogersville, MO, Sue Brunk, Monticello, GA, John Yutzy, Annville, PA, Ellen Bleach, Phoenix, AZ, Andrew Yutzy, Seattle, WA and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gideon and Anna, two brothers, David and Henry, one son, Ivan.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
