James Ernest Perry

James E. Perry, 65, of Laurelville, passed away, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1950 in Logan, West Virginia, son of the late Ernest Perry and Myrtle (Marcum) Loar. He was married to Sandy Dianne (Baker) Perry, who survives.

James was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He attended Hopewell Chestnut Grove Church in Vinton County. He was loved by his family and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, James Lee Barnes; daughters, Angela Caulley, Megan Perry, Amanda (Daniel) Barnett and Misty (Jason) Barker; five grandchildren; brother, Herman (Jean) Perry; sister, Judy (Arlo) Hill; extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Hopewell Chestnut Grove Church, Vinton, County. Interment will be immediately following at the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
