Frances L. Stimmel

Frances L. Stimmel, 96, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born October 18, 1918 in Perry County, daughter of the late Roy and Ethel Beck Kishler. Frances was the widow of the late Paul E. Stimmel.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her sons, Hal (Helen) Stimmel of Logan, James (Sharon) Stimmel of Gore and Don (Debra) Stimmel of Gore; daughters, Patty (Gerald) Edgar of Logan, Beverly (Larry) Mosure of Logan, Carol (Robert) Henderson of Lancaster, Mary (John) Randall of Logan and Jennifer (Greg) Godby of Logan; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carma Stimmel of Logan; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Arnett Griffith of Sugar Grove.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Stimmel; son, Elvin Douglas Stimmel; brothers, Charles and Loris Kishler and sister, Miriam Kishler.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6935 Twp. Rd. 234 SW, Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Thursday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
