Esther M. Wilson

Esther M. Wilson, 97, of Logan, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Logan Health Care Center. She was born March 23, 1918 in Athens County, daughter of the late Leroy and Anna May Marks Six. Esther was the widow of the late Warren Wilson.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Marsha) Wilson of Logan and Lonnie (Vicki) Wilson of Rockbridge; daughters, Glenda Nihiser, Nellie M. Miller, Eva (Charles) Eaton, Norma Rooker and Loretta (Jack) Klump, all of Logan and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dean “Tubby” Wilson; daughters, Mary Ellen Wilson and Shirley Butler and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
