Derek Giffin Dunn

Derek Giffin Dunn, 5, of Junction City, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at his residence and with his loving family by his side. He was born April 3, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Jonathan P. and Serena K. Ruff Dunn.

Little Derek was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, Derek is survived by brothers, Jonathan Cody (Kayla) Dunn, Charles Dakota Dunn, Paul Montana Dunn, Joseph Skylar Dunn, Warren Michael Dunn, Bo Bennett Dunn, Robert Eugene Ruff and Brandon Lee Ruff; grandparents, Ron and Sharon Dunn of Obetz and Gerald and Linda Ruff of New Straitsville; great-grandmother, Betty Ruff, Logan; nieces and nephew, Grace and Faith McCune and William Dunn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, John and Lexie Dunn, Charles and Betty Gordon, Pete Ruff, and Paul and Patricia Nelson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday October 17, 2015 at New Lexington Middle School, 2550 Panther Dr., New Lexington, Ohio 43764 with a visitation to follow the service.
