Maxine Mae Lowry

Maxine Mae Lowry, 70, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 17, 1945 in Athens County, the daughter of the late Willard and Velma Showalter Clark.

She is survived by her children, Angela (Randy) Hooper of Athens, Jennifer Lowry of Nelsonville, Carlos Lowry of Nelsonville and Paul (Crystal) Lowry of Athens; seven grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Clark of Trimble; sister Ellen Carr of Millfield and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Lawrence “Boot” Clark; sisters, Shug Carr and Vickie Iddings and a granddaughter, Cheyenne Lowry.

Maxine’s wishes were to be cremated. No services will be conducted at this time. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
