Robin "Fred" Mount

Robin Fred Mount, 58, of Athens, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1957, in Nelsonville, son of the late Samuel “Ed” and Erma Waugh Mount.

He is survived by his companion of more than 40 years, Dorothy Wood; children, Erma (James) Hogue of Albany, Kathy Wood (Chuck Dye) of Athens and Rob Mount of Athens; grandchildren, Shian and Hannah Hogue, Jacquelyn McDaniel (Cody Moore), GeorgiaAnn, Melvin, Charlie, Beau and Nikita Dye; great grandchild, Esmae Moore; brother, Dale (Mindy) Mount of Logan; sisters, Cora Mash of New Marshfield, Reta Mash of Nelsonville, Kathy Keplar of Logan and Rose (Jerry) McCulloch of Carbon Hill; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Mick and Don Mount.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4-6 PM at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. No service will be held at this time.
