Nancy E. Johnson

Nancy E. Johnson, 87, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born December 26, 1928 in Fairfield County, daughter of the late John and Bertha Smith Wilson. Nancy was married for 65 years to Charles J. Johnson, who survives.

She attended several area churches, including St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Logan. Nancy was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Lithopolis.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Allan (Joy) Johnson of Logan and Leslie (Terry) Johnson of Sacramento, California; daughter, Linda Johnson of Groveport; grandchildren, Leanne (Jonathon) Cozad, Christopher (Faith) Johnson and Ryan Johnson; great granddaughter, Abigail Cozad and a brother, Stanley (JoFaye) Wilson of Lithopolis.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Rd. NW, Lithopolis, with Chaplain Linda Ward officiating. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Monday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Nancy E. Johnson to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
