Janet Fay Bray, 74, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, formerly of McArthur, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 8, 1941 in Madison, West Virginia, daughter of the late Willard and Pearl Dillon Workman. Janet was the widow of the late James Bray.
She was a retired LPN.
Janet is survived by her sisters, Nina Workman of Columbus, Nadine Holstein of Ashford, West Virginia, Rose Blair of Columbus, June Carter of Pinch, West Virginia and Aileen Glenn of Pataskala, Ohio; special niece and caregiver, Anna Puskas and her husband Brad of Tunnel Hill, Georgia and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dewey and Delmer Workman and sisters, Joyce Workman, Louella Thompson, Nola Workman, Shirley Workman, and Maxine Hunt.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor David Peoples officiating. Interment will be Locust Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
