Lenamae "Pinki" Appleman

Lenamae “Pinki” Appleman, 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of McArthur, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 20, 1929 in Racine, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl and Lucille Edman Lewis. Pinki was the widow of the late Jesse Willard Appleman.

Pinki was a former cook for the Vinton County Local School District, a lifetime member of the McArthur VFW Auxiliary Post #5299 and spent several years helping with 4-H programs in Vinton County.

She is survived by her daughters, Alicia and Craig, Carleen and Darrell, and Donna; son-in-law, Skip; several grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and many special friends,

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; one daughter; one grandson; one son-in-law; one sister and two brothers.

Pinki’s wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
