Margaret Castor

Margaret Joan Castor, 83, of Zaleski, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Bayside Nursing Home in Poquoson, Virginia. She was born February 14, 1933 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William and Ona Deweese Bowser. She was the widow of the late Roy Castor who passed away in 1981.

She was retired from Goodyear in Logan and was a member of the Women’s Army Air Corps. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her family.

Margaret is survived by daughter, Lorie Castor-Borst and spouse Donald Borst of Yorktown, Virginia; grandchildren, Donald (Jessica) Borst of Yorktown Virginia and Steven (Sarah) Borst of Smithfield, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Zachary and Maggie; brother, Ronald Bowser Sr. of Zaleski; nieces and nephews, Ronald Bowser Jr., Jonathan Bowser, Debra Moreland, Pamela Wesley, Joyce Gruver and James Gruver.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Gruver.

Friends may visit Saturday March 5, 2016 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., PO Box 302, McArthur, Ohio 45651. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested by the family to be made to a local Animal Shelter or to give flowers to someone living in the memory of Margaret Castor.
