Bonnie J. Morrison

Bonnie J. Morrison, 67, of Rittman, passed away March 2, 2016 at Summa Barberton Hospital, Barberton. She was born October 1, 1948 in Wadsworth, the daughter of the late Virgil C. and Iona Hall Ullman.

Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a 1966 graduate of Rittman High School and a graduate of the Nursing program at Hocking College in Nelsonville. She was a registered nurse at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan and Berger Hospital in Circleville before retiring from Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Ted (Collene) Morrison of Nelsonville and Patricia (Art) Johnson of Chugiak, Alaska; grandchildren, Evangelia, Gabriella, Juliana and Royce; sisters, Charlene Holcomb, Dottie (Gary) Larch and Judy (John) Lendon all of Rittman; lifelong friend Donna Hess of New Franklin and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Ullman and a brother-in-law, Jim Holcomb.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Elder Mike Hatton officiating. Interment will be at Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
