Norma Joanne Ruffner

Norma Joanne Ruffner, 84, of Logan, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born May 28, 1931 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel Helber Stivison.

She retired from Smead Manufacturing in 1993.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Carla (Jerry D.) Bowlby of Logan; grandchildren, Carrie Bowlby of Heath and Jerry L. and Jennifer Bowlby of Logan; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Kyla Bowlby of Logan; brother, Ronald Stivison of Logan; sisters-in-law, Eloise Stivison and Westina Stivison, both of Logan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jody; brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Roy Stivison and sister-in-law, Janet Stivison.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Thomas L. Gates II officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Logan. At Joanne’s request, no visitation will be observed.
