Kenneth R. Adcock

Kenneth R. Adcock, 77, of Junction City, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born April 10, 1938 in Perry County, son of the late Willis and Helen McCormick Adcock. Kenneth was married for 48 years to Bettie Hatcher Adcock, who survives.

He worked for 23 years for the State of Ohio Department of Weights and Measures and during the last 8 years, he was Chief of the Division of Weights and Measures. Kenneth then worked for the Department of Agriculture ASCS office until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church in Logan, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Mingo Lodge #171 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Logan Commandery #78 Order of Knights Templar, Hock Hocking Council #39 Royal and Select Masons, Logan Chapter #75 RAM and the Moose International.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, David (Beth) Adcock of Junction City and Chris (Patty) Wilson of New Lexington; daughters, Annette Kokensparger of New Lexington, Paulette (Jeff) Kunkler of Junction City and Kendra (Steve) Kunkler of Junction City; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Richard Adcock of Somerset; sister, Nancy Johnson of Pickerington and his 2 faithful little buddies, Parker and Boo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Nancy Adcock; brother-in-law, Ronald Johnson and son-in-law, William Kokensparger.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Frank Frazier officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
