James M. Amnah

James M. Amnah, 77, of Logan, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born February 2, 1939 in Hocking County, son of the late John and Winifred Hall Amnah. James was married to Judy Devol Amnah, who survives.

He was a Navy veteran and retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster.

James is survived by his son, Shawn Williams of Logan; daughters, Traci (Jarrod) Higdon of Springboro, Ohio and Tina (Les) Smathers of New Straitsville; grandchildren, Beau (Brittany) Perry, Melanie Perry, Jamie Perry, Brooke and Rob Mitchell and Britany Smathers; great grandchildren, Mia and Eli and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Charles Amnah and sisters, Elizabeth Glenn, Betty Bauman and Jenny Riddlebarger.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. No visitation will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
