Wilbur "Wib" L. Wallace

Wilbur L. “Wib” Wallace, 71, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born March 21, 1944 in Columbus, son of the late Wilbur E. and Edna Kathleen Ingram Wallace. Wib was married to Sandra L. Exline Wallace, who survives.

He retired from AEP, was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran, a member of Connett United Methodist Church and Paramuthia Lodge #25 F&AM.

Wib is survived by his children, Karla Parks of Chillicothe, Jeri Ross of Columbus, Bryan (Lisa) Wallace of Nelsonville, Amy Rose of Canal Winchester, Wib (Sandy) Wallace of Nelsonville, Robin Roseberry of The Plains, Robert Roseberry of Oak Hill and Scott (Melinda) Wallace of Columbus; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a niece, Lesley (Heath) Lahna.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Wallace.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Robert VanBibber officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, with military graveside services being conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 p.m. where a Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
