Marjorie A. Harper

Marjorie A. Harper, 92, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born October 22, 1923 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Craten and Holly Graves Tatman. Marjorie was the widow of the late Glenneth Harper.

She was a member of Otterbein Chapel Church.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Charlie (Jane Lawhead) Harper of McArthur; daughter, Judy Blevins of Ashland, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brent and Doug Blevins and great grandchildren, Kyle, Malia and Mark Blevins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St. McArthur, with Pastor Wes Gallaugher officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m.
