Roy Nichols

Roy Nichols, 70, of Logan, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Grant Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 19, 1945 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late William and Ellen Castle Nichols. Roy was married to Susan Russell Nichols, who survives.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Church of God.

Roy is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Debra) Nichols of Logan, Daniel Nichols of Logan, Roy (Bridgette) Nichols II of Logan and James (Tammy) Nichols of Lancaster; daughter, Malinda (Anthony) Holmes of English, Kentucky; grandchildren, Theresa Nichols, Emilie Holmes, Heavenly Nichols and Nicholas Cole and a nephew, Hobie Dixon of Columbus.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Bill Nichols and several brothers and sisters.

Roy’s wishes were to be cremated. No services will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
