Betty L. Cunningham

Betty L. Cunningham, 77, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born July 10, 1938 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Leroy and Minnie Crabtree Elliott. Betty was married to the late John C. Cunningham.

She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Nelsonville.

Betty is survived by her sons, Randy Lee Decker of Logan and William Decker of Nelsonville; daughters, Audrey Poling of Glouster, Lilly Hall of Nelsonville and Carolyn Decker of Nelsonville; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Leroy (Erma) Elliott of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Debbie (Frank) Woods of Florida and Doris (Don) Duril of California and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Rolland “Roady” Decker Jr. and Clifford “Biff” Decker; grandsons, Rolland Decker III and William David Jones and sister, Mary Ann McDonald.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 in the United Pentecostal Church, 785 Jackson St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Lewis Dunnels officiating. Interment will be in Conner Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call on Monday, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
