Josephine Carmine Branscombe

Josephine Carmine Branscombe, 91, of Albany, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Huston Nursing Home in Hamden. She was born March 12, 1925 in Puerto Rico. Josephine was the widow of the late William Elefterion.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Branscombe of Monroe, Connecticut, Peter Branscombe of Lindenhurst, New York, Melville Branscombe of Stratford, Connecticut and David Branscombe of North Haven Connecticut; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Gale Duhamel; sisters, May Smith and Prudence Ayers and brother, Peter Ubides.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
