Ralph Marshall Herrold

Ralph Marshall Herrold, 69, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1947 in Vinton County, son of the late Jack Calvin and Kathleen Mae Loper Herrold. Marshall was married to Lynn Stutler Herrold, who survives.

He was a retired truck driver and a Marine Veteran.

Marshall is survived by his sons, Roger (Maria Coleman-Filorima) Herrold of Tennessee, David (Melissa) Herrold of McArthur, Michael Herrold of Wellston and Jeremy (Maria Shahan) Herrold of Nelsonville; daughters, Lori Herrold Scholl of McArthur, Marsha Herrold of Mississippi and Cierra Herrold of McArthur; step children, Jerricka and Derek Steele, both of McArthur; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Rick Herrold of McArthur; sisters, Gloria (Scott) Fee of McArthur and Rita King of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Terry Woltz of Allensville.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble and Tom Dishong officiating. Interment will be in Keeton Cemetery, Vinton County, with military graveside services being held the by McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m.
