Betty Jean Jones

Betty Jean Jones, 83, of McArthur, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Heartland of Chillicothe in Chillicothe. She was born February 25, 1933 in Mason County, West Virginia, daughter of the late William Marvin and Alice Lucinda McFarline Jones.

Betty is survived by her sons, Richard (Teresa) Smith and Gary William Smith, both of McArthur; grandchildren, Broc. A. and Brody W. Smith; sisters, Linda, Wanda, Geraldine and Ruby and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia, Marie and Arlene and daughter-in-law, Krisa Smith.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Danny Minton officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
