Charles Lee "Charlie" Dunaway

Charles Lee “Charlie” Dunaway, 66, of Westerville formerly of Columbus, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at The Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born October 1, 1949 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of Paul Dunaway of Gahanna and the late Louise Willner Dunaway. He was married to the love of his life and best friend Sharon Marie Hinerman Dunaway who survives.

Charlie was a Supervisor for the US. Postal Service. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Life Member of AMVETS. Member of the Logan Moose Lodge, and St. James Episcopal Church in Clintonville.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Torry) Washington of Chesterfield, Virginia; step-daughter, Laura Marie (David) Campbell of Westerville; grandson, Tyler Washington; brother, Neil Dunaway of Gahanna; sisters, Paula Dunaway and Kathy (Louis) Seidensticker both of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Henry and Katherine Corrigan, Alisha (Stan) Harris and Elizabeth Bednar.

A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet St., Columbus. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.

Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Charlie Dunaway to the St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
