Judy E. Bacus

Judy E. Bacus, 73, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 15, 1942 in Athens County, daughter of the late Austin and Louise Morehead Harbarger. Judy was the widow of the late Daryll Bacus.

Along with her husband, Daryll, Judy was the owner of the Top of the Caves Campgrounds and JEB's produce market.

Judy is survived by nieces, Tammy (Dave) Burgess of Lancaster, Melissa (Jay) Poling of Logan and Wendy (Arthur) David of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Rosemary Harbarger; great nieces and great nephews, Kyle Burgess of Lancaster, Dorian, Alexa, Traten and Lia Poling of Logan and Bruce, Mitch and Luke David of Pittsburg and a host of special friends.

Judy was especially close to Dorian, Alexa, Traten and Lia. They spent Sunday evenings fishing, boating and cooking out with her at her cabin on Lake Logan. They have also walked her beloved pets each day after she no longer had the strength to do so.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe P. Harbarger; nephew, Timothy Austin Harbarger and her loving pet, Sammie.

The family will be forever grateful to her caregivers, Amy Bower, Lisa Klingler and Christal Seymour for the loving care and kindness they have shown to Judy during her illness the last few months.

At Judy's request a family graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.

Judy was known for her faith, her kindness toward everyone and her love of animals.
