Kenneth Francis Nickell

Kenneth Francis Nickell, 74, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born October 28, 1941 in Vinton County, son of the late Roy and Frances McKee Nickell. Kenneth was married to Polly Coleman Nickell, who survives.

He was a Navy Veteran.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by his sons, Roy (Mary Carbin) Nickell of Zaleski, Kenny Nickell of McArthur, James (Patty Slater) Nickell of McArthur and Dustin (Billie) Nickell of Creola; daughter, Sarah Nelson of Londonderry; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and a brother, Robert Nickell of Columbus.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 P.M., Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Mitchell Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Saturday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday, in Mitchell Cemetery from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
