Ralph Edsel Scott

Ralph Edsel Scott, 62, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 9, 1954 in Vinton County, son of the late Howard and Mabel Radcliff Scott.

Ralph attended the Allensville of Christ in Christian Union and Pleasant Valley Trinity Church in Londonderry.

He is survived by his daughters, Jenny, Kristy and Misty; grandchildren Lydia, Luke, Daulton, Kilee and Kyle; brothers, Neal Scott of Londonderry, Curtis Scott of Londonderry, Harold Scott of North Carolina and Jerry Scott of Akron; sisters, Margery Atwood of Arizona and Helen Ann Molihan of North Carolina.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Scott and Howard Scott Jr. and a sister, Betty Dixon.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Wes Gallaugher officiating. Interment will be in Salt Spring Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
