Anthony Riley O'Rourke

Anthony Riley O’Rourke, 15, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 14, 2001, in Athens, Ohio, son of Angela M. O’Rourke who survives.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by father, Philip Bass of the residence; maternal grandmother, Anna O’Rourke of Nelsonville; uncle, George (Jessica) O’Rourke of New Marshfield; aunts, Jennifer (Fred Kraft) Wheatley of Columbus and Tiffany O’Rourke of Nelsonville; step-brothers, Philip Bass Jr. and Justin Bass; step-sister, Leha Bass; cousins, Eric M. O’Rourke, Nicholus S. Wheatley, Sofia L. Wheatley, Aydric Kraft, Karicia Kraft, Joseph O’Rourke, Shelby O’Rourke, George K. O’Rourke, Hannah Jordan and Halley O’Rourke; other family members and dear friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Sylvan O’Rourke; maternal great-grandparents, George and Vivian Whiteman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be at New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 PM, at the funeral home.
