Mary Lou Triplett

Mary Lou Triplett, 79, of Chauncey, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 2, 1937 in Chauncey, the daughter of the late Samuel and Della Cullison LaHugh. She was the widow of the late Dale Triplett Sr.

She was a house-keeper at Bromley Hall in Athens and was formerly a member of the AMVETS in Chauncey.

Mary Lou is survived by sons, Dale Triplett Jr. of Nelsonville and Michael Lee Triplett Sr. of Chauncey; grandchildren, Sammy Triplett of Chauncey, Christy (Raymond) Kasler of Nelsonville and Sherry Triplett of Millfield; five great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Along with her husband and parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by grandson, Michael Lee Triplett Jr.; sister, Lucille Goins; brothers, Samuel LaHugh and Charles LaHugh; and dear friend, Clarence “Wudge” Hillyer.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday December 2, 2016 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with the Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call from 11 AM, until the time of service, at the funeral home.
