Bertie F. Dupler, 88, of Corning, went to be with the Lord, Friday December 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1928, in Buchtel, daughter of the late Leonard and Edith Smart Freeman. She was married to her late husbands, Rev. Lloyd Spangler Jr. for over thirty years and Marion Dupler for seven years.
She was a Homemaker, and a member of The House of Prayer Church in Corning.
Bertie is survived by sons, Bob (Linda) Spangler of Drakes, Terry (Pat) Spangler of Logan, Lloyd (Gloria) Spangler of Drakes, and Sylvester Bailey of Nelsonville; son-in-law, Tom Bailey of Rendville; daughters, Connie Sherrod of Logan, Pam (Alan) Ramsey of Florida, Lisa (Jeff Hatfield) Flory of Logan, Cindy (Frank Mosure) Harding of Logan, Stephanie (Randy) Paige of Drakes, Evelyn (Tom) Primmer of Logan, and Cheryl (Willard) O’Nail of Nelsonville; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Louise) Freeman of Lancaster.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by daughter, Doreen Bailey; granddaughter, Tina Brooks; several brothers and sisters; grandsons, Gary Massie and Gary Nelson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at The House of Prayer Church, 8251 Scenic Rd., Corning, Ohio 43730 with the Rev. Ron Hurst officiating. Interment will be in Community Gardens Cemetery in New Lexington. Friends may visit Monday December 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the church in Corning. Arrangements are with the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
