Marion Heiney

Marion Heieny, 97, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Huston’s Nursing Home in Hamden.  She was born May 11, 1919 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late John Fleming and Hazel Cox young.  Marion was the widow of the late Dallas Matthew Heiney.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Doherty and Doris Heiney, both of McArthur; grandchildren, William Doherty, Michael Doherty, Edward Doherty, Pam Gillman, Gregory Doherty, Diane Doherty and Kenneth Doherty; sixteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Dallas Junior Heiney.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
