Cindy Larimer

September 14, 1956 — January 8, 2017

Her husband Tom, and children Corey Johnson and Angie Alcorn are saddened to report the passing of their wife/mother Cindy Larimer on January 8, 2017 as a result of complications related to COPD. She had just celebrated her 60 th birthday in September at Topsail Island with her immediate family. Other surviving family members include her sisters Donna Tipton and Pam Kasch, many nieces and nephews and her children’s partners Yancey Gulley and Chris Reynolds. Characterized as fierce, feisty, independent, sassy, loyal, dedicated, hard-working, fun-loving, adventurous, passionate, and caring.

Cindy lived a rich life, spending the early part of her lengthy and successful career as a customer service supervisor at Metropolitan Life Insurance and the latter as a Vice President at Citizen’s Bank. The things that brought her joy included time at the ocean, shopping, riding on the back of the Harley and most importantly spending time with her granddaughter, Savannah Alcorn. Given her adoration of Savanah and her wish to see her succeed in life, we ask in lieu of flowers, well-wishers make a contribution to her college fund. Those contributions can be made directly to Citizens Bank in the name of Savannah Alcorn. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the Cardaras Funeral Home in Logan from 5-7pm. Private memorial services will be held on Friday.

Please sign her online guest register at www.cardaras.com
