Helen M. Mcnichols

Helen M. McNichols, 77, of Roseville, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer.  She was born February 26, 1939 in Vinton County, to the late John W. and Laura R. Richards.

Helen is survived by three daughters, Juanetti R. (Billy) Thurston of Roseville, Leisha M. Hunt of Londonderry and Debra M. McNichols of Londonderry; son, Virgil E. “Bub” (Amanda) McNichols of Somerset; twenty three grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to Helen’s parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. McNichols Sr.; two sons, Terry Lee McNichols and Tracy Ray McNichols; a grandson, Joshua Allen McNichols and a brother, William T. Richards.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.  Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Vinton County.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m.
