Delsie Addington

Delsie Addington, 82, of Creola, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.  She was born September 5, 1934 in Sitka, Kentucky, daughter of the late William McKinley and Anna Lee LeMaster VanHoose.  Delsie was married to Lawrence Addington, who survives.

She was a member of the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church.

Delsie is survived by her sons, Ricky (Gail) Addington of Creola, Larry (Judy) Addington of Logan and Joseph Addington of Creola; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a sister, Zelzie Millitello of California.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Richard Addington; brothers, William, Ivan and Wayne VanHoose and sister, Elsie Bolling.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church, 408 W. Main St., McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. and Pastor James Henderson officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
