Charlotte L. Walter, 81, of Logan, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Lanfair Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Lancaster. She was born January 1, 1936, daughter of the late Rev. William and Mary Kennard Brown. Charlotte was the widow of the late Clayton W. Walter.
She retired at 33 years of service as an Administrative Assistant for the Logan Hocking School District.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Dr. Steven (Kristi) Walter of Cary, North Carolina; daughters, Cathy (David) Morgan of Zanesville and Christy (Chris) Bosch of Rockbridge; grandchildren, Maura, Leah and Clayton Walter, Sarah (Sam) Miller, Andrew (Elizabeth) Morgan, Katie and Julie Morgan, Christen (Jordan) Sevcik, Carissa (Tyler) Stevens and Cassidy Bosch and great grandchildren, Madilyn Lucille Sevcik and Evelyn Jane Miller.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Brown and sisters, Barbara Lightfritz, Betty Brown and Donna Gilkerson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Andy Good officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Charlotte L. Walter to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
